Her chosen family are currently making 2-3 cross-country trips a week to visit her and support her in any way we can. The cost of travel and accommodation is extremely expensive, so we are now calling on our wider community to financially support these efforts.

In addition to these costs, we have been buying and sending clothing for Yulia (much of which the prison has denied at entry). As a result of this disgusting state violence and detention, Yulia has lost her job and is also currently facing eviction. 

This fundraiser is therefore both to cover immediate needs while she remains incarcerated, but also to begin building funds to support her when she is released and has to face a second wave of harm created by this state's deliberate disruption to her life.
