WHO IS YULIA?
Yulia is a 32-year old woman from Manchester who believes in a free Palestine.
Yulia is accused of being involved in disruption to a weapons factory in Bristol. She has been charged, but will not go to trial until September 2026.
For now, she is being kept in prison on remand in HMP Bronzefield - about four hours from her home and her loved ones.
She is being kept in a high-security private prison, where she has little control over her day. For the first six months, she was in torturous conditions until pressure from the outside forced the prison to move her to a quieter house block.
She is a vulnerable person who has been assessed by a psychologist as having a high risk of suicide exacerbated by the prison.
She loves and misses her home city immensely. Before being in prison, she was an integral support to many communities, especially putting her efforts into fundraising for Trans Mutual Aid Manchester (TMAM).
She misses the flowers as they grow through the seasons. She misses supporting her best friend, Jasmine, in her music career. And she misses her beloved partner and the home/family they were creating together.

WHO ARE THE FILTON 18?

They are a diverse group of people with one thing in common - a shared dedication to making Palestine free.
