Since moving from HMP Bronzefield in October 2025 with no warning, Yulia's condition has deteriorated rapidly. It is urgent that we improve her conditions so she is suffering less.

In the past at HMP Bronzefield, it helped when people wrote emails to the prison to raise concerns and to ask for improvements.

Here is a letter template that you can use - please choose which aspects you wish to keep or delete.

Whilst it is best for people to write their own letters, you could mention some of these things:

• Yulia should receive all the items that have been sent over from HMP Bronzefield, including suitable winter clothing

• She should be moved to a quiet, single cell on a different wing, where she will not feel unsafe from violence/substance abuse and will not suffer constant sensory distress

• She should get access to the gym and other activities to help her mental health

• She needs access to a dentist, as she has a broken tooth, and the last dentist she was supposed to see never arrived

You could also express your concern:

• that Yulia is kept on remand full stop, given there is no evidence that she has hurt anybody

• that Yulia and her co-defendants are still being treated like terrorists, even though they are not facing terrorism charges

• that the prisons' treatment of Yulia so far has caused her further trauma
